What is Nakhlana?
Nakhlana is developing a harvest participation model for managed date production and sales in Iraq. Participants would receive an agreed share of sales proceeds after specified costs and fees. Our offices are in the UAE and Iraq.
How would I receive my share?
The model centres on selling the dates and distributing each participant’s agreed share of the proceeds, after specified costs and fees. The participation terms set out the allocation method, deductions and payment timing.
Is participation tied to one tree?
The proposed basis is an agreed share of a defined orchard production pool and period. A named palm can provide a personal connection through updates; an individual tree’s yield would not determine your entire allocation.
Can I receive some dates instead of cash?
Yes, that is an option we are exploring within the same arrangement. Tell us whether you prefer cash or mostly cash with some dates. Any dates received would be valued against your allocation under the agreed terms.
How much would I contribute?
Tell us the approximate amount and currency you would consider in the interest form. This helps us understand the participation levels people are interested in. Our team can discuss the structure and costs with you.
Would participation last one season or longer?
Tell us whether one harvest season, multiple seasons or a discussion with our team would suit you. Your preference helps shape the participation options.
